Narration

I am highly attuned to looking for all of the opportunities a story gives me, whether I’m helping writers refine their plays, or using my voice as a professional storyteller. I love exploring preteens on a quest, teens facing heartbreak, and adults navigating challenging worlds with wit and humor. I slip easily into literary fiction, middle grade, and YA. I love the artistic freedom audiobooks give me in exploring a wide range of characters whose voices ring true to their nuanced perspectives.

I have narrated for Hachette, Penguin Random House, John Marshall Media, Echo Point Books, Lepton Production, Lantern Audio, and Learning Ally. You can find my work in Audible under Amy Jensen and my pseudonym Cassandra Alling. I am the 3rd place Valorious Award winner for 2024 Science-Fiction Voice Acting, and 1st Runner Up in the 2022 Rone Audiobook Awards.

As a Fulbright scholar, Danes showed me how to perform at eye level, not looking down on but alongside young audiences. I’ve worked with Elise Arsenault and have taken classes with Anna Garduno, Paul Liberti, Amanda Quaid, Nic Redman, Voice Actors of NYC, and the Linklater Center for Voice and Language. I am a member of APA and PANA.
